About Us

Education is the starting point, not the reward

InnerCity Mission Schools are the education arm of the InnerCity Mission for Children — built on the belief that a child shouldn't have to earn their way into a classroom.

Our Mission

We exist to remove every barrier — cost, distance, uniforms, books — standing between a child in an underserved community and a real education. We run full-day primary and secondary schools staffed by trained, salaried teachers, inside the neighborhoods that need them most.

We believe an educated child changes a household, and an educated generation changes a community.

How We Work

Each ICM school partners closely with local families and community leaders to identify children who would otherwise be out of school, and removes the practical barriers keeping them out — enrollment fees, uniforms, textbooks, and transportation where needed.

Every school follows the national curriculum, supplemented by reading support, meals, and basic health checks.
